He is no more........

HE IS NO MORE.....

One of the "DUMBEST"  defense I've read so far since the BBC Hausa dialect broadcast saga of President Buhari was an unimpressive and lazy write up titled : THE STORM IN A TEA CUP. by: Abubakar Widi-Jalo.

I'm just imagining how these same set of people making all these cerebrally lopsided defense for this broadcast achaicry, will react if an Ibo president should address the nation,  given the same blurry template as we currently have in the country, in Igbo dialect.. in fact, the resultant effect should be better imagined than actually experienced.
Some people are just unpatriotically crude and deliberately unrefined on very sensitive important national issues.
Let us agree that senility is begining to set in on the part of the ailing septuagenarian,  just for the sake of absolving the president in this seeming owl-cry by some unscrupulous opportunistic  and unrepentant sycophants around the president.
It is important we all let them know that they never meant well for this country called Nigeria.

How can someone harshly attempt to defend a backflip stunt by an aged pallbearer at the funeral of a minor ?..

President Buhari's medical bill is not coming from his Daura cattle farm for crying out loud, neither is it being picked by the beneficiaries of his gross nepotic antics, the entire Nigerians are paying his medical bills,   and if he now deems it fit or he is healthy enough to send a message of gratitude home, there should be at least some sense of statesmanship in his approach of reaching out to his benefactors.

I choose not to site the example of a Yoruba President sending a broadcast in Yoruba simply because of the existing filthy confraternity between some iconic Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani political gladiators, and if that happens from a Yoruba President, depending on the level and the strength of the prevailing stabilizing factors as then, such misdemeanor could be overlooked by the same Hausa/Fulani sect, the Igbos will surely frown at such, but they are far less likely to make any big issue out of such as the Hausas will do, if such blunder comes from a sect or region they're not comfortable with.

It is becoming more and more obvious that president Buhari is appearing more of a sectional than a national leader, and his handlers are not in any way better than he is, they may be deliberately un-nationalistic,  it could be that they're soaked in and or drunken by the perks of their offices and other political patronage they currently enjoys, or they may just simply be lacking in the intellectual capabilities of good "Brand Managers" they ought to be.
How can the president of a country that is currently witnessing a serious agitation for a regional emancipation be so insensitive and ethnically blinded to have committed such idiocy? And his pocket aides and sycophants alike be telling us that he was interviewed in Hausa language, that he was on medical leave and not obliged or officially expected to address the nation until he resumes as the president, some people can really be so unreasonable... this type of utterances are not only capable of fanning the already gathered embers of disintegration, it can as well remove the weak and fragile components of our national unity.
Statements like this should be classified as "Hate Speech" which the Acting President recently condemned and warned "well meaning" Nigerians to distance themselves from.

This controversial BBC Hausa program brought to the fore again, the issue of the British conspiracy theory, as no genuine and convincing reason has ever been given to this imbalance.

I've been on radio, television and the social media,  drumming support for President Muhammadu Buhari before, during and after the 2015 elections.

Like millions of other Nigerians, I have been disappointed by president Buhari on so many occasions, and I've also
complained about gross inefficiency of his administration at various quarters... but the response I always get from his die hard supporters is that: his efforts to make a change or turn things around are being sabotaged by some cabals,  it is also widely believed that the legislative arms are not supportive of the President's change agenda.
Senator Bukola Saraki is being tagged as the "Chief Saboteur" of President Buhari's government.
We all knew how Nigerians love to make excuses for their failures, we are very good at making up, fabricating and reconstruing political events and body languages,  and I've been wondering since the last Hausa dialect broadcast blunder, if Bukola Saraki has a hand in this self inflicted injury.

President Buhari has been having a really unimpressive outing in a match against his real and imaginary opponents, while his fans kept all hopes alive with great dismay, then came this opportunity of a penalty, in form of sending broadcast to all Nigerians after 52 days of waiting, but he ended up playing the much needed penalty to the side line, thereby giving his opponents the opportunity of converting his own penalty into a throw-in,  which they have the capacity to turn into a winning goal.

President Buhari should start acting like a national president,  or he will succeed in tearing the nation apart along ethnic lines..

Deji Ogundimu is foremost a Nigerian above any political lineage.
